Project Overview
Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart Edition, I led the visual evolution of this high-speed sequel, building on the massive success of the original Gamer and Collector’s Editions.
Following that triumph, The Nintendo Company granted me full access to their Mario Kart Evergreen library, providing the creative freedom to elevate the franchise’s visual experience. I approached the gameboard with a 'track-to-track' philosophy, seamlessly blending iconic racing worlds to capture an authentic, high-octane gamer feel. The result was an industry hit—earning high praise from Nintendo Seattle and Nintendo Japan for perfectly balancing the heritage and energy of two legendary brands.

Seamless 'Track-to-Track' Blending
The gameboard for Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart Edition was engineered to be more than just a surface—it’s an immersive circuit. By leveraging Nintendo’s Evergreen library, I crafted a visual journey where iconic racing environments flow seamlessly into one another.
Instead of traditional static squares, the board functions as a living race, blending vibrant worlds to capture the high-speed energy of the franchise. This cohesive design creates a unified gamer aesthetic that transports players directly onto the track, earning acclaim from Hasbro and Nintendo’s global teams for its authentic brand synergy and technical execution.
