Project Overview
Monopoly: Star Wars Dark Side Edition, I directed the entire creative lifecycle from concept to production. Collaborating closely with Lucasfilm, I ensured every asset met the most rigorous standards for franchise authenticity.A defining feature of this project was the bespoke, hand-painted art style, providing an artisanal, premium feel to the iconic villains of the Star Wars galaxy. During development, I proposed a strategic vision: a 'Light Side' companion game with a mirrored layout. This concept allows the two editions to face each other perfectly when placed side-by-side, creating a unified 'Force' display. Lucasfilm enthusiastically approved the pitch, which led directly to the development of the Star Wars Light Side Edition.

My vision for the cover was to transcend a standard game box and create a collector-grade piece of art. I directed a sophisticated, hand-painted movie-style collage featuring iconic Dark Side favorites like Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. To achieve seamless atmospheric depth, I developed a custom TIE Fighter brush in Photoshop. Instead of placing static assets, I 'painted' the fleet directly into the composition.
