Monopoly – Star Wars Light Side Edition
Project Overview
Monopoly: Star Wars Light Side Edition, I directed the creative journey from initial concept to final production, following the strategic success of the Dark Side edition.
My original vision was to create a mirrored 'face-off' layout where the Light Side box would physically align with the Dark Side box to form a seamless, panoramic display. While Lucasfilm was immediately sold on this innovative 'Force Balance' concept, our design exploration revealed that a full mirror image impacted the brand's retail readability. I successfully pivoted the strategy to maintain visual consistency with the Dark Side’s premium layout while shifting the perspective to the heroes of the galaxy, ensuring a cohesive and sophisticated collector experience.

I implemented a dynamic blue wrap-around effect that mimics the radiant glow of a Jedi’s lightsaber. By mirroring the structural layout of the Dark Side packaging but shifting
