Monopoly Fortnite Flip
Project Overview
As the Lead Senior Graphic Designer for the first-ever Monopoly: Fortnite Flip Edition, I headed the creative vision to merge two iconic worlds. Collaborating closely with our internal teams and the Epic Branding and Studio Teams, our goal was to create a tabletop experience that felt truly immersive and authentic to the Battle Royale.
I focused on bringing the game’s high-energy mechanics to life visually, specifically through the innovative Flip mechanic. This feature allows players to literally transform the board as they race toward victory—triggering dangerous Traps, seeking refuge at Campfires, and navigating an ever-changing landscape that captures the soul of Fortnite.

Just like in the video game, these cards are where players discover powerful weapons and utility items pulled straight from the world of Fortnite. As you scavenge the board, these cards allow you to constantly evolve your strategy—deciding whether to swap out your current gear or equip new health boosts and items to your player loadout. This mechanic adds a layer of tactical depth, giving you the necessary advantage to outlast your opponents and secure the Victory Royale.
