
Monopoly Prizm: NBA Edition, I drove the creative vision for a groundbreaking collaboration that merged the world of high-end sports card collecting with classic board game strategy. This was far more than a standard edition; it was a true crossover collector’s program developed in close partnership with Panini, the NBA, and the NBPA.
I chaired the creative journey from initial concept to final production, engineering a gameplay experience where players utilize their physical Panini Prizm cards within the game ecosystem. To support this crossover, I developed a seamless visual identity for the Booster Boxes, creating a unified brand language that empowers fans to collect, trade, and grow their rosters both on and off the board.

For the debut of Monopoly Prizm: NBA, I collaborated closely with Panini’s design team to develop a cohesive visual framework for the starter cards. The challenge was to mirror the premium, high-gloss aesthetic of authentic NBA Prizm trading cards while ensuring they functioned intuitively within the Monopoly ecosystem.

I spearheaded the character development to officially bring Mr. Monopoly into the NBA universe. By blending the character’s classic heritage line art with a high-energy, athletic lens, I created a modernized version of the mascot. This 'Rookie Card' treatment gave the iconic character the same prestige as a top-tier draft pick, creating a unique bridge between brand history and sports culture.

To drive the 'collector's itch,' I designed high-stakes 'chase card' art that mirrors the excitement of a real-life Panini card break. I developed the visual framework for elusive Mr. Monopoly 'Rookie' parallels—ranging from the classic Silver Prizm to ultra-rare, numbered variations—specifically designed to become 'instant grails' for collectors.
